Planning Commission
The Township Planning Commission is responsible for creating and adopting a basic master plan as a guide for the development of the unincorporated portions of the Township to review special use applications and conduct site plan reviews. They also create and propose amendments to the Zoning Ordinance.

The Planning Commission will receive comments on two special use applications for home based businesses. One is from Ken Schneider to offer outdoor education classes to homeschooled students at 11344 Pryor Rd, Portland. The second is from Baron Seal to offer car detailing with interior and exterior cleaning to be located at 7625 Grand River Trails, Portland.
