*Note that the Portland R & O is no longer published.  For legal notices, we are using the Ionia Sentinel-Standard newspaper which comes out on Fridays.  Notices will still be placed on the website and at the Township Hall. 

The Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on October 18 for a zoning ordinance text amendment regarding land divisions over 10 acres to be exempt from the 4:1 width-to-depth ratio.  Also a public hearing on rezoning the parcels on East Tupper Lake Rd and Clintonia Rd area from Rural Residential to Agriculture.  Click on "PC Notice" below for the full descriptions and "Rezone Map" below for the map of the parcels proposed for rezoning.

Recycling is available at various locations (no longer shared with Portland Township).  See links below but check first as hours and days of the week change with the seasons.
